In ‘Made in SG’, Melanie Oliveiro speaks to Cheryl Anne Lee, Librarian and Janet Law, kidsREAD volunteer at National Library Board (NLB). kidsREAD is a nationwide reading programme in Singapore which turns 20 years old in 2024. It's aimed at cultivating the love of reading among children aged 4 to 8 from less-privileged families. Lee and Law talk about how the club operates and has grown significantly over the years. They also discuss how some alumni have returned to volunteer and share their joy of reading with others.
