The Ready for the Draft Podcast is back to cover Weeks 14 and15 of the college football season. In episode 13, Gregg looks at some late Day 2 and Day 3 prospects who caught his eye during the last two weeks of the regular season.  CJ Marable turned heads against Louisiana, while Amon-Ra St. Brown solidified his status as a Day 2 wideout with 4 1st quarter TD's against Washington State, while the Aggie duo of Carson Green and Ryan McCollum give A&M two OL guaranteed to hear their names called early on Day 3.  Defensively, don't sleep on Demetrius Taylor at DE and can we give some love to Ronnie Perkins coming off the edge?  Bobby Brown III and Haskel Garett are Power Five prospects, but keep an eye out for Group of Five DT's Tayland Humphrey and Jaxon Player.  At LB, Pete Werner and Baron Browning's versatility should solidify their Day 2 status, while the versatility of Antjuan Simmons and Tony Fields II will get them off the board on Day 3.  Divine Deablo's size, range and versatiity make him a player to watch at Safety.  Gregg also gets the chance to talk Talanoa Hufanga up as a top-five safety in this draft and it wouldn't be a Ready for the Draft Podcast wthout Gregg talking about his favorite player in college football - Zaven Collins.

After taking a holiday break, The Ready for the Draft podcast is back!  Gregg discusses how Weeks 12 and 13 of the College Football season are shaping his top 10 lists by position.  We know Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields, Zach Wilson and Trey Lance are the top four QB's, but will it be Kyle Trask or Mac Jones off the board next at QB?  Is Najee Harris the top back or is it Travis Etienne?  And is any RB's stock rising more than Jermar Johnson?  Kyle Pitts is back to his dominant self.  Can he be a top-10 pick?  Is Liam Eichenberg OT3 behind Penei Sewell, Samuel Cosmi and Christian Darrisaw?  Defensively, Joseph Ossai, Jeremiah Owusu-Koraomoah and Zaven Collins are creating 1st Round buzz, but take notice of DE's Patrick Jones II and Ade Ogundeji, DT Marlon Tuipulotu, LB teammates Baron Browning and Pete Werner, CB's Rodarius Williams and Elijah Molden and S Damar Hamlin.

Week 11 of the College Football season is in the books and Gregg takes a look at the draft-eligible prospects standing out.  Kyle Trask is narrowing the gap toward the top of the QB class while Christian Darrisaw is asserting himself as a legitimate contender for the No. 2 OT in the draft.  And is there a defensive prospect who has helped himself more in 2020 than Zaven Collins????  Gregg also looks at some under-the-radar propsects, from Ty Fryfogle and Ben Skowronek to Marlon Tuipulotu and Osa Odighizuwa, who are moving up draft boards.

Week 10 of the College Football season is in the books and we saw Clemson go down at the hands of Notre Dame, Florida emerge as an SEC power as well as the start of the Pac-12 and MAC seasons.  Gregg takes a look at some of the featured games from Week 10 and focuses on players flying under the radar and Day 3 gems.  Liam Eichenberg is on everyone's radar, but he's not getting the hype he deserves, while Teven Jenkins is flying under the radar as an OT worth considering on Day 2 of the draft, while Carson Green continues to impress as a mid-Day 3 option at RT.  Rhamondre Stevenson is back from suspension and has changed the whole complexion of the OU offense while Caleb Huntley just might be a late Day 3 or UDFA gem at RB.  Defensively, Wyatt Hubert is quietly having a huge year at edge rusher while Bobby Brown III is showing he can generate a push along the interior of the D-line and Ball State's Christian Albright is showing he can get to the passer off the edge, improving his stock as a Day 3 OLB.

Week 9 of the College Football season is in the books and Gregg takes a look at everything from Justin Fields' latest dominant performance to Joseph Ossai taking over the game against Oklahoma State.  Gregg also looks to answer these questions and more - Are Zach Wilson and Mac Jones closing the gap on the Big Three at QB?  Where is Phil Jurkovec in the QB conversation?  Is Najee Harris or Travis Etienne the top RB in the draft?  Where is Devonta Smith's draft projection?  Should Teven Jenkins be receiving 1st Round consideration?

Episode 8 focuses on Week 8 of the College Football season, which marks the opening week of Big 10 play.  Gregg will cover everything from how Justin Fields solidified his status as the draft's No. 2 QB in the Buckeyes' convincing win over Nebraska to Michigan DE's Kwity Paye and Aidan Hutchinson dominant performance applying constant pressure on Minnesota QB Tanner Morgan.  And what effect will Jaylen Waddle's season-ending injury have on his draft stock?

Part 2 of Episode 7 focuses on Weeks 6 and 7 of the College Football season. Trevor Lawrence made an emphatic statement as the expected No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 draft, while it may be Zach Wilson and not Kyle Trask who is the No. 4 QB in the draft behind Lawrence, Trey Lance and Justin Fields.  The gap between Travis Etienne and Najee Harris at the top of the RB class is becoming narrow thin.  Jaylen Waddle is also closing on Ja'Marr Chase for the top WR spot, while there isn't much dropoff to Devonta Smith, who may be the smoothest draft-eligible WR.  Notre Dame OL Liam Eichenberg, Aaron Banks and Jarrett Patterson continue to see their draft stock rise.  Defensively, Jaycee Horn is making a compelling case to be the No. 1 CB, while Monty Rice and Joseph Ossai have improved their draft stock and it may be Christian Barmore and not Marvin Wilson who is the top DT.

Part 1 of Episode 7 is dedicated to the top FCS and lower level prospects for this year's draft.  In 2020, just nine non-FBS level players were drafted and just Kyle Dugger and Jeremy Chinn heard their names called during the first two days of the draft.  We have three offensive prospects who could hear their names called in the first three rounds this year, with Trey Lance and NDSU teammate Dillon Radunz expecting to come off the board in the 1st Round.

Stay tuned for Part 2 of Episode 7 where Gregg looks back at Weeks 6 and 7 of the College Football season.

Week 5 of the college football season was a wild one, especially in the Big XII, Florida's Kyle Connection was at it again, while KJ Costello struggled against zone coverage.  And Tulsa knocked off UCF behind the arm of a pro prospect at QB in Zach Smith and a defense led by Zaven Collins.  Georgia dominated Auburn defensively with Tyson Campbell locking up Seth Williams on the outside.  And then BYU continues to impress, led Zach Wilson, who finished with a near-perfect performance against Louisiana Tech,

Gregg also looks at players to watch when the Mountain West and MAC take the field in the coming weeks.
