Previously our heroes reunited on the road.  They hatched a quick plan to sneak some of the party, including the green mother, into the Vernau estate in Aurora's empty barrels.  Arrin used her divine sense to assuage Rurik's suspicions regarding the alignment of the green mother.  Though she turned out to be good natured, there was revealed an invasive evil in their vicinity.  Avoiding near disaster, they have made it past the guard and into the estate where they have now brought the Green Mother to a confrontation with Hammerlain.
