Focusing on the “big goal” in life can keep us paralyzed. Every big goal is accomplished through many mini steps. What is one thing you can do today to move forward? Just Start.
Have you ever said something you regret? (Everyone raises their hand.) Proverbs 18:21 says, “The tongue has the power of life and death” yet our tongues can feel so impossible to control! This episode offers insight into the power of our words, and provides hope that we can begin to speak life, even in areas we have felt powerless to change.
I have added a downloadable pdf of Scripture Based Declarations to the Lies vs Truth free download from last week. Print this sheet off and begin to declare truth with your words. You can grab it here!
What’s this? A podcast episode on a Friday?! Wahoo! Friday Fire will be dropping each Friday during the Let’s Go series to give you a little boost of encouragement as you head into the weekend! My hope is that these little pep talks will help you get you going in the direction you already want to go and move you one step closer to thriving :)
Are you believing any lies about who you are? Any lies about others? How do we begin to identify lies from the truth? My hope in this episode is to help guide you through a few steps to get those lies out of your head and replace them with the truth. This is a game changer. When we can stop believing the lies others have spoken over us, and the lies our mind has been telling us we can begin to run this race freely and lightly. But we can’t do it alone. We need the Holy Spirit to guide us along this journey of identifying lies in our life.

In her words, Christina is a Canadian mama with 4 under 5 trouble making, seriously awesome kids, wife of one fabulously talented Italian man, and daughter of a single mama in a family of 7.
The Father God called me from age 10 to follow Him. Coming from a single parent family with not so healthy father figures around led me to make spotty choices along a zig zagged road through my teen and college years. By His grace and for His glory, I am pursuing Him still. God is faithful and redeems all things—even me.
I’m deeply passionate about the crafted word in all forms, discipling women to know their Bibles, and using their unique gifts in following Jesus wholeheartedly. Spicy islander pizza, ice cream and Downton Abbey are my jams.

How do we turn down the noise of the world to hear the voice of God?
This episode tackles the questions: How does what we consume on a daily basis affect our soul? How do we practically, actively, choose the noise in our lives and how can we seek out solitude and space for quiet in our head and our hearts? How do we filter the voices we allow to speak into our lives?
Romans 12:2 says “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” We can intentionally turn down the noise of this world so we can hear the voice of God more clearly. Jesus got away from the people He loved the most to spend time with the Father.
My hope in this podcast is to encourage you to practically take steps to quiet your life to be able to hear God more clearly.
This episode is about looking at why we do #allthethings. I take you through a quick process of how to figure out what you value and encourage you to prioritize those things. Not an episode where I tell you what to do and what to drop, but one where I encourage you to take a step back and examine how and where we spend our time and our money.
