I’m so excited to introduce you to my friend, Debbie Heiser.  As a person who has for many years stayed very “in my head” with my approach to life and getting things done, Debbie has intrigued me from the moment I met her and learned of her ability to combine that masculine, analytical, get it done head space with her more emotional, heart-centered, be-able-to-receive feminine side. The real benefit to others though, is not the fact that she lives this way but that she can so clearly describe it to others in a way that lets them step out of their comfort zone, become an observer of their own behavior, and learn to embrace even greater potential.

Ever meet someone who is doing exactly what they’re supposed to be doing in the world? Somehow they have managed to take some seemingly unrelated experiences and abilities, and combined them to help people and have an impact. Sometimes you don’t think that you’re Ready Yet!?  But a lot of those times the folks around you already know you are! When Anna Krolikowska decided to put aside her own hesitations and listen to those encouraging voices, the result is ending up as the President Elect of the Illinois Bar Association…..only the fifth female to hold that office since 1877…...one of the youngest to hold that office…….and getting there after she won the contests in all 102 circuits in the state. And the one of the best parts about Anna….she really does believe that if she can do it so can you!

Not only is that what Robb Z did for himself after leaving a position in a company he fought hard to reach, to join a new business, but it’s also what he did for me when he said yes to being my coach - even though he wasn’t coaching at the time! Every now and then you meet someone who helps you finally articulate something you’ve been feeling, but couldn’t quite figure out. Today’s guest, Allison Williams, has done that for me in a profound way. I really only knew two things about Allison before this conversation. One, she was a lawyer from the east coast. And two, she was unabashedly herself - which is not the stereotypical image of an east coast lawyer. There had to be something more to it and I’m grateful how open Allison has been in sharing her story with me. What I can finally articulate: success is often tied to being authentically YOU.
