What gifts do you have to share with the world? Some people either don't know what their unique giftings are, or can’t seem to figure out how to put them to use. This podcast will spur you on to not only discover your gifts but also to be intentional about looking for ways to use those gifts in service of others. It is your responsibility in this life is to put your unique abilities, interests, and personality to good use.
Funmi Obembe, the guest on the show today, is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems in the De Montfort University School of Computer Science and Informatics. She has over 18 years' experience working in the industry. She loves God and is a passionate teacher who discovered her gifts while growing up in the Sunday's School. She is married with two kids.
She shared her journey to discovering her gifts, explaining the link between passion and gifting. Her love for God and wanting to be everything God wants her to be keeps her going.
Using her life as an example, Funmi and I talk about the role 'people around you' play in discovering your gifts. She talks about how she knows that it is all about God and deploying your gift may not be comfortable but its all about God and not you.
