It's time for a change...

2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us that if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

IN CHRIST ... That's the key.

Let this message challenge you to be "in Christ" and allow him to change you from the inside out!

This is week 3 of our series, Reset.

#sermon #reset #realchurch #crowson #message #sermonseries

It's time for a personal reset.

It's time to plug back in to the things of God.

God is trying to lead us into the future He has planned for us... Jeremiah 29:11 tells us "For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Hope.

Hope is ALWAYS looking forward... Never backwards...

Remember Lot's wife? She turned to a pillar of salt after looking back at the place God was bringing them out of...

There is NOTHING worth going back for.

NOTHING.

Your future is NOT behind you...It's in front of you!

Keep. Moving. Forward.

God is trying to reset our focus on His best... Allow God to reset your vision.

Let your new vision be by revelation, and be strengthened by God!

It's time for a reset.

To reset, according to Webster, is to set again or anew...

Here's the thing. If we don't take time to learn from the past, we are destined to repeat it!

Judges 2:10 says this: "And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the Lord, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel."

It took just 4 generations from Abraham, the father of the faith, to Judah who engaged in fornication as he unknowingly had relations with his former dauther-in-law...

In just 4 generations the patriarchs moved from FAITH to IMMORALITY.

There have been many great revivals throughout the history of our world and country. Each one was followed by a terrible event.

Right now, our world is primed for the greatest reset in the history of the world... Will you be ready??

It's time for a reset!

We learn in Nehemiah that a watchman fights with one hand and builds with the other.

Listen, the enemy is sneaky, and he comes in quickly and typically when you're unaware...

It is imperative that we be watching, praying, and taking a stand continually! Never putting down our sword, and never ceasing to watch and pray.

Jeremiah 2:13

The people of God experienced two great evils...

1. They neglected and rejected God...

2. They tried to find purpose and pleasure in things other than God.

The result?

They lost their purpose and destiny as God's special people.

Let this message challenge you to get back to the basics of "seeking FIRT the Kingdom of God..."

This week's message is week 1 of a new sermon series called "The Church Gone Wild"

There's a BIG difference in religion and relationship.

Religion makes a god. Relationship seeks God.

In Exodus 32 we read that when Moses went up the mountain to receive the ten commandments from God Aaron aloud the people to "run wild" and create their own "god".

They got so crazy in their sexual party that they disgraced themselves for their very enemy's.

God's not about taking from you as are manmade gods... He's all about giving to you! He's about forgiving you! He's about relationship with you.

So many today have a distorted view of God.

Maybe they have had a terrible example of a father, or maybe they haven't had one at all and now they've projected those experiences on God.

The good news is God is good. He's always good. He's always faithful, patient, and full of love.

Let today's message encourage you and help you see the true heart of your Heavenly Father!
