Real Church

We hear it all the time... Trust your heart... Listen to your heart...

"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked... Who can know it?"...

Wow... That's what the Bible has to say about your heart.

Check out this week's message about your heart!

We so often like to put an adjective in front of "God" when we refer to him... For instance - We serve an Awesome God... A Faithful God... A Great God...

Well, what about this... We serve GOD.... God alone. He encompasses all of these adjectives and more, and He's able and willing to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we could ask, think, or even imagine...

Let today's message challenge you to believe God for Great and Mighty Things!

A drowning man cannot save himself.

A lost man cannot find himself.

Many say there are many pathways to God... Sure, we each take a different pathway to God, but when we get to that point we have a decision to make... To accept Jesus Christ or to reject him.

To walk through the narrow gate and narrow pathway that leads to life everlasting THROUGH Jesus Christ, or to turn and walk the broad pathway where many others are already walking...

Be challenged this morning in your view of "salvation"... It comes through Christ ALONE.

Every first Sunday night of the month we have what we call Revival Nights. Each night is an awesome time of praise and worship followed by an incredible word from God from a different guest speaker.

This week we welcomed pastor Calvin Kearley to speak and WOW! God used him in a mighty way!

When you think of traditional Easter sermons you probably think Jesus crucified, buried, and raising from the dead on the third day...

Well, take a listen to this Easter message and be blessed AND challenged!

God is a God of LIFE...

He created life. He breathed the breath of life in us when he shaped us from the dust of the earth.

So, if He's a God of life, then we believe He's in the resurrection business!

We believe, as Christians, that when the God of life comes in contact with the dead resurrection follows!

We, the body of Christ, cannot be dead... We must be ALIVE, healthy, and active in the work of the ministry.

Have you allowed the dream to die? You know the dream I'm talking about... The dream that seems SO big it'll never happen... The dream people scoff at. Did you know there are phases to a dream?

It goes something like this:

The birth of a dream

The announcement of a dream

Building synergy

Arrival of roadblocks, pitfalls, opposition, and unexpected difficulties

Loss of zeal, excitement, and focus

Forgotten...

REVIVED, RENEWED, and REBORN!!

Listen to today's message and be challenged to keep the dream alive!!

Have you ever wished you could raise the dead?

When you were created God breathed HIS breath in your lungs... That means for those that are in relationship with Jesus you have resurrection power living on the inside of you!

You've been given the gift of prophesy - the gift of being able to speak to dead situations, relationships, and even bodies and say "come alive again"!

Enjoy today's message and be challenged to speak LIFE to dead things today!

You say you believe the Word of God… You even have it hidden in your heart… But what does your mouth say?

Scripture says in Romans 10 “With the heart I believe; with the mouth I confess…”

A couple things about faith… Without it we have no salvation. And without confession there is no salvation.

Faith is about speaking the UNSEEN!!

Hebrews 11:1 tells us that “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

So, spoken confession is the validation of our faith!

We say we believe, but what do we confess with our mouths?

What’s my heart saying?

What’s my mouth saying?

Do they line up?

We find in Acts 3:19-21 that God tells us our sins can be wiped clean and we can enjoy times of refreshing from the Lord if we turn to God and repent from our sins...

A few takeaways from today's message:

Our Repentance Releases God's Revival

Just as a good cleanse detoxifies the body; a heart of repentance detoxifies the soul.

The Word of God refreshes, strengthens, and empowers.

We can find rest in God's plan for refreshment.

Take some time to hear from God in today's message.
