When Louise Hay wanted original music for her self-help ministry in the 1980s, David Ault, Jerry Florence, and Keith Kimberlin formed "Alliance" to meet that need.  What they couldn't know is that they were laying the foundation for modern New Thought music.  As the last man standing, David Ault still carries the torch of compassionate care and self-love through his music, his writings, his foundation, and his ministry.

Since moving from SoCal to Hawaii, New Thought Diva Faith Rivera has been exploring and expanding, both musically and spiritually.  Audiences of all descriptions are engaged & energized through her upbeat messages, music, and dance.  Faith is a multiple Posi Award winner and a Grace Note Award recipient, and for good reason.  We last spoke with Faith in 2019, and in this Real Conversation, we catch up on the latest from our favorite island girl.

When this singer/songwriter moved from Nashville to Unity Village just outside of Kansas City, he was just getting started.  As the president and co-founder of Empower Music and Arts and the Empower Music Festival, he created a communal experience in support of Posi musicians that is fast approaching its third decade.  Still a troubadour at heart, now Reverend Richard Mekdeci is both a fine musician and, undeniably, a pivotal figure in New Thought.

Well-known and much loved in New Thought circles, on his latest album Gary Lynn Floyd pays homage to one of his songwriting inspirations and mentors, Harriett Schock.  Schock made three albums for a major label in the 1970s, scoring gold and platinum awards for her Grammy-nominated "Ain't No Way to Treat a Lady".   Gary combed through her catalog, picking out 10 gems to put in his own settings and present to us in this loving tribute.

Her very first New Thought gig was subbing in for Michael Gott at CSL Dallas.  How does that even happen?  Robin Hackett already possessed the creativity, the consciousness, and the chops, that's how.  She's a force in both the physical and metaphysical, not only as a superb singer/songwriter, but also as an author and blogger.  From New York to Texas and back, she's been blazing her own way, dropping a breadcrumb trail of jewels for us to pick up and examine.
