As Founder and CEO of Synapse Development Group, Justin directs the continued growth and vision of the company, while overseeing all aspects of Synapse’s real estate investments.
Prior to co-founding Synapse, Justin served as Assistant Vice President at Lehman Brothers, where he oversaw the work-out and repositioning of a 1,300-unit multi-family portfolio in New York City, as well as the foreclosure and restructuring of a large mixed-use development portfolio totaling 1.4 million square feet of development rights located in New York and Washington, D.C. At Lehman, Justin completed more than $75 million in construction projects, primarily in New York City. Justin began his career in real estate at Clarion Partners (formally ING Clarion), a global real estate investment management firm with $36 billion in assets under management. While at Clarion, Justin served as a Portfolio Analyst and was a member of the Lion Value Fund portfolio management team.
Justin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and macroeconomics with honors from the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences at Bernard Baruch College (CUNY).

Jim leads the US Real Estate & Construction (RE&C) sector for Deloitte. Prior to assuming the US RE&C sector leader role, he served as the head of Deloitte's Audit practice for the RE&C sector. During his more than 30 years of experience, Jim has worked with public and private companies across many segments of the RE&C sector including REITs, construction, and private equity companies. Jim has extensive experience in initial public offerings, private placements, and SEC filings, as well as advising clients in all aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and due diligence activities.

Jim is a frequent speaker and instructor on industry and other technical subject matters at the national level with Deloitte. Living in Dallas, Jim has been heavily engaged in several real estate and community organizations including The Real Estate Council and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.

Paul joined MG Properties Group in 2010 and is responsible for the firm's acquisition, disposition, and capital markets activities. At MG, he has been involved with the purchase of approximately 12,000 units totaling $1.7 billion in total consideration. Paul has 17 years of experience in real estate private equity investment, capital markets, and corporate M&A. Prior to joining MG, he held various roles in commercial real estate debt and equity acquisitions, development, and financing. He has a background in corporate M&A and venture capital investing at Northrop Grumman (NOC). Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
