Real Deal with Akil

Football season is officially heating up, and there’s plenty to talk about on this episode of Real Deal with Akil.

I break down the AP Top 25 preseason rankings and give my thoughts on which college football teams are ranked too high, too low, and who could make some noise this season.

Then we head to Houston for my biggest Texans Preseason Week 1 takeaways, including what stood out and what I’ll be watching as the regular season gets closer.

I also react to the latest Astrodome plans and discuss what Houston should ultimately do with one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Finally, we get into the NBA 2K27 gameplay reveal — what caught my attention, what looks improved, and whether 2K27 could actually deliver a better experience this year.
