Real Kingdom

We know that the Holy Spirit gave the early Christians a gift of languages (often called tongues). Since then there's been controversy over that gift. Listen as we tell some personal stories that illustrate our understanding of this biblical gift.

Our very first episode on May 17, 2020 was about experiencing joy in God. Now that Dustin is embroiled in a fight against cancer, it seems appropriate to reinspect the topic to find out if it really works.  As an added bonus, at the end of the episode Dustin finally shares his thoughts on the musical Hamilton!

We've talked about walking in the Spirit, and we've talked about joy and trusting God to provide. Now Dustin finds himself in a moment where he is having to do all of those things in of life's most frightening scenarios.

Dustin tells two of his most formative stories about his journey into learning about demons and the power of Jesus to set people free... right after Nathan asks an important question about the musical "Hamilton."

Nathan and Dustin share a life-changing story in which God encouraged them with the specific phrase, "There is no cup."  What does that mean?  Listen to find out!  They also continue the conversation started in the last episode about how to know if God is really speaking to us.

Nathan and Dustin recount an amazing story of learning to listen to God through an adventure in which their van got stolen, and they share their thoughts on Christians hearing from God in general.

Last week we went live to discuss race, but since there's still so much to say, we are continuing this week as well. Please shoot your comments and questions our way, and we will try to respond next time.

Nathan and Dustin attempt to process their places in the conversation about race and the Kingdom of God.

Consider this statement: "God will give you what you need, but not what you want." Is that biblical? What does it mean when Jesus says to "ask whatever we want"? Listen as we talk about times when God provided all we needed and sometimes even more!

The Bible says a lot about joy, but what is it like to experience it? Listen as we go live to discuss our experiences with supernatural joy.
