I am someone with a lot to say about the school system and how it is ruining our educators and creating a generation of anxious teenagers.
This week, after presenting to a room full of year 11 students, I needed to get something off my chest.
Focusing on what we DO for a living in life, is the wrong thing to focus on.
Focusing on passing the exams and getting the grades to DO a particular role is the wrong thing to focus on.
Knowing that we want a change, but agonizing over what we want to change to, is the wrong thing to focus on.
We need to start asking ourselves better quality questions:
👉 who do we want to be?
👉 how do we want to feel?
👉 what lifestyle do we want to live?
👉 what do we want to be able to achieve?
👉 how much do we need to earn?
👉 how much time are we prepared to invest in order to earn it?
I have discovered that is doesn't matter WHAT I do... it doesn't matter HOW I earn money... it is what that money allows me to do, how that activity makes me feel, what lifestyle I am able to live...
...how I can fulfil my purpose... THAT is what is important.
THAT should be our focus.
I'd love to know what you loved about this discussion and if exploring a new way of earning money is something you're curious to learn more about, be sure to DM me via the link below for access to my private Facebook Group - "FIRED UP & FREE"

When you enter a destination into Google, it gives you directions o the best way of getting there based on where you are now. If Google didn't KNOW where you were starting from, it WOULD NOT be able to calculate the route.
The same is true of our goals.
If we do not know where we are RIGHT NOW, there is no way in hell that we are going to be able to figure out how to reach our goals... however much we might say we want them.
In this episode, I walk you through a really simple, yet effective exercise that I have just redone for myself. It is one of the key tools I reached into my coaching toolkit for, to get me out of my funk, because it's so much easier to plan a route, when we know where we're starting from!!

As a coach, promoting the need to build a business that meets the needs of your life, rather than taking over it; to admit that I was burnt out and over it was MASSIVE.
I felt like the biggest fraud and honestly, I just wanted the world to swallow me up never to be seen again.
I thought about hiding away, coming off socials and going back to full time work - and for a short period, I was really f#$king tempted...
But something inside kept calling to me.
I couldn't just turn my back on what I can feel in my heart.
I KNOW I am here to inspire.
I KNOW I am here to lead a movement of FIRED UP parents sick to death of the hum-drum monotony of everyday life.
I KNOW there is more available to each and everyone of us who are brave enough to take the steps and make it happen.
I'm here for that.
I'll ALWAYS be here for that.
I just needed to find a different vehicle through which to make it happen!!
🔥💦🔥💦🔥💦🔥💦🔥💦🔥💦
In this first episode back after a whopping 8 months, I'm sharing my story of burnt out and over it and how I managed to pull myself out of the biggest funk I have found myself in to date, to now be feeling FIRED UP and ready to lead a new charge!
This show is here to inspire
This show is here to empower
And this show is here to enable you to believe that ACTUALLY I CAN - you can achieve anything that you want and we're gonna do it together

When we decide to go into business for ourselves, it can be super exciting and we can spend our time setting up all the fun stuff, giving little attention to the “boring” “behind the scenes” stuff like policies & procedures, employment contracts and service agreements. Not only is it less fun to think about, but it can also be an expense we don’t want to incur right at the get go.
My guest this week talks us through some of the reasons why we should remove our heads from the sand and face up to some of these things; sharing stories from her own business journey and her experience over her career as a lawyer.
Georgina Ryan is a mum, business owner and lawyer at Regional Business Law in Wagga Wagga, NSW. She is passionate about rural Australia and helping her clients grow their business, by guiding them through all the necessary regulatory red-tape.
Through this conversation we chat about::
👉 the importance of having service agreements in place
👉 how the right documents can actually make our business more valuable
👉 how to determine the correct business structure for us
👉 the need for open, honest, and confronting conversations
👉 how to maintain effective working relationships, and heaps more!

Let’s face it, analysing our numbers is not usually something high on the priority list for a lot of entrepreneurs!! In fact the very thought of doing so may fill you with dread and deep rooted anxiety?!
But here’s the thing. Money is the lifeblood of our business and I am passionate about education and empowerment in this space, because when we have our finances under control, EVERYTHING else will just click into place.
When I meet like-minded people, I geek out on the conversation, and my guest this week is one of those epic souls. Sara Verheyen is the owner of Mareish Books, a bookkeeping and CFO services company where she helps entrepreneurs embrace the numbers side of their business.
She lives in Texas with her husband and two kids and in this conversation, we chat about how we can feel less intimidated by our numbers and learn to use them to make better decisions in our business.

In the online world it is really easy to find stack loads of information on how to improve our weaknesses and get better that things, but my guest this week believes we are looking at things all wrong.
Perhaps we’re not supposed to be masters of it all?
What if, instead, the real key is to hone in on our strengths?

Anne is a Leadership Coach, Facilitator and Speaker who works with individuals and organisations to empower courageous leaders.
Throughout her 10 year career as an award-winning leader in the Engineering industry, she has learned first-hand what it takes to be a courageous leader.
Anne believes that everyone has the power to drive change to create a world where we can celebrate our perfect imperfections in diversity.
Through her work, Anne equips individuals with the key leadership skills needed to build their courage, confidence and resilience, embrace vulnerability, learn impactful communication strategies and create space for open and trusted relationships and nurture the individual strengths of others.

I am sure we have all been in situations where someone near and dear to us has said something that has impacted how we feel about our business? Perhaps they have burst our bubble, perhaps they have questioned our latest idea, or sown a seed of doubt in our minds by a stray comment…
This week on the show, I am chatting with relationship expert Leeza Marie about how we can ensure we have healthy relationships with the people around us, so as to retain, not drain our energy!
We chat about the importance of taking responsibility, creating healthy boundaries and how repeated arguments can offer us feedback into what we’re not always willing to admit.
