We were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all good things? We can live confidently and happily knowing that God has not spared an expense in guaranteeing our safety. Although the Christmas season may be over in December, we can be glad that in heaven - we'll be rejoicing with the Lord forever!

Joy is the settled assurance that God is in control of all the details of my life. It is the quiet confidence that ultimately everything is going to be alright, and because of that, I choose to praise God in every situation.
