  • Built Different (Nehemiah 1) We Love God

Everybody ends up somewhere. The question we wrestle with is whether we’re getting there on purpose, with a mission, a plan, and the tools to actually build. We start with a simple story about trying to build a house from “just an idea,” then turn it into a clear framework for discipleship: mission, vision, and values that shape daily life, not just Sunday habits.

Our mission stays steady: we exist to make disciples, fully devoted followers of Jesus. Our vision is the lifelong journey of knowing God, growing in freedom, and sharing Christ with everyone. Then we dig into the first core value that fuels everything else: loving God. Using Nehemiah as our guide, we talk about what loving God looks like when life is messy and the walls feel broken, including making prayer a priority, learning to talk with God consistently, and choosing simple next steps that actually stick.

We also unpack why Bible study matters for spiritual growth and freedom: when we know God’s Word, we know His promises, we find hope, and we learn to recognize what aligns with God versus what subtly twists the truth. Finally, we challenge ourselves to stop compartmentalizing faith and start inviting God into every area of life, because surrender is where transformation happens.

  • YHWH (Exodus 3) 7- God Is Omniscient

Feeling overwhelmed does not always mean your life is falling apart. Sometimes it means your problems have gotten bigger than your current picture of God. We lean into a single, challenging word that turns out to be deeply personal: omniscience. God knows all things, and that truth is not meant to corner you, it is meant to carry you.

We walk from Exodus to Psalm 139 to see what God’s perfect knowledge actually does in real life. God has foreknowledge, so He is already in what is coming and He can lead you with wisdom you cannot manufacture. God is just, because He holds every detail you will never have, so you can stop obsessing over whether the right call will be made. And God never gets lost, which means you are never misplaced, forgotten, or invisible to Him, even when you feel swallowed by a crowd or stuck in a long season.

Then we get practical: God knows where you are, He knows who you are, and He knows the pathway to healing. That invites a bold prayer, not a fearful one: “Search me, know my heart, and lead me.” We also name the tension many of us live in, where emotions feel true but are not always truthful. When anxiety says you are alone or hopeless, God’s character answers back with steadier words.

If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend who feels lost right now, and leave a review so more people can find the hope you found. What is one area where you need to trust God’s guidance more?

  • YHWH (Exodus 3) 6- God Is Immutable

Your week can change in a single phone call, but what if the most important thing about God is that He doesn’t. We start with a surprising story from Disney that turns into a gut-level question: when life gets bigger, does your view of God stay big, or does it quietly shrink until your problems feel louder than your faith?

We’re nearing the end of our series on the attributes of God, and we camp out on a word you probably don’t use every day: immutable. It means God does not change. We trace it from Yahweh’s name in Exodus 3 to the steady promise of Hebrews 13:8: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. That single truth reshapes how we handle anxiety, uncertainty, and the private battles nobody else sees, because a consistent God means you can trust His character in every season.

From Numbers 23, we look at Balaam’s blunt declaration that God doesn’t lie or change His mind, then bring it home with practical confidence: God is predictable, stable, trustworthy, and faithful when relationships, culture, headlines, and even our own emotions keep shifting. We close with the long view of God’s promise-keeping in Joshua’s life and the comfort of Psalm 23 when you’re walking through the valley.

If you need steady ground today, hit play, share this with someone in a storm, and then subscribe, leave a review, and tell us what you’re trusting God with right now.

  • YHWH (Exodus 3) 5- God Is Omni-Benevolent

Pain has a way of shrinking your world until the hardest thing is the only thing you can see. So we’re doing the opposite today: lifting our eyes until God is back in his rightful place, bigger than our trouble and clearer than our fear. The anchor truth sounds simple, but it’s strong enough for real life: God is omnibenevolent, which means God is good all the time.

We start with Yahweh in Exodus 3, where God introduces himself as “I AM” the eternally present, unique sustainer who is not one option among many. From there, we look for evidence of God’s goodness you can actually name on a Monday. We talk about beauty in creation, God’s patience with stubborn people like us, and the cross of Jesus as the clearest display of love and mercy. If God didn’t spare himself for our salvation, we can trust his character even when we don’t understand his choices.

Then we sit with Jeremiah in Lamentations 3, written from the ashes of devastation, and watch hope break through honest grief: “Yet I still dare to hope… his mercies never cease.” God’s goodness is strong enough to handle disappointment and sorrow, brave enough to dare us to dream again, and practical enough to give direction for our next steps: commit to God, search for him in the dark, and wait for his timing. We close by moving our hearts back to the cross through communion and extending a clear invitation to anyone ready to trust Jesus for the first time.

If you need hope that doesn’t pretend, press play. Then subscribe, share this with someone who’s carrying a lot, and leave a review that tells us what you’re trusting God with right now.

  • YHWH (Exodus 3) 4- God Is Sovereign

Chaos has a way of shrinking God in our minds. Problems stack up, headlines keep coming, and before we know it, we’re living like our stress is in charge. We want the opposite: a clear, steady view of God that makes the rest of life easier to face, not because storms disappear, but because fear stops driving.

We walk through Yahweh’s self-revelation in Exodus 3, where God meets Moses at the burning bush and declares, “I Am Who I Am.” That name is not a label; it’s a statement of reality: God is eternally present, unmatched, and above every rival. From there we talk about God’s sovereignty in plain language: God is in control. Not as a cold doctrine, but as comfort for people who are tired of trying to control everything themselves.

Then we get practical. We share three evidences of God’s sovereign care: his preservation as the one who holds creation together, his cooperation as the God who walks with us through countless daily decisions, and his purpose as the one who wastes nothing. Romans 8 becomes our anchor for peace in a chaotic world: God works all things for good, God is for us through Jesus, and nothing can separate us from his love. We also wrestle with the “last 10%” the part we keep gripping even when we say we trust God.

If you need a calmer heart and a bigger view of God, press play, then share this with a friend and leave a review. What is the last 10% you’re being asked to trust God with?

  • YHWH (Exodus 3) 2- God is Omnipotent

Your problems can grow for years while your picture of God stays the same and that gap is where fear, stress, and exhaustion take over. We spend this week of our Yahweh series widening the lens, because when we see God clearly, we start seeing everything else with steadier eyes.

We start in Exodus 3 at the burning bush, where God names himself Yahweh, “I AM WHO I AM,” the eternally present, one true God who isn’t competing with your circumstances. From there we talk about omnipotence: God is all-powerful, and his power is guided by his character. That means his strength doesn’t threaten us; it anchors us. We point to evidence of God’s power in creation, in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and in the transformation we can see when people truly give their lives to him.

Then we walk with Jeremiah in Jeremiah 32, stuck in a public mess and a private battle, trying to obey God when it makes zero sense. God tells him to buy a field while the city is under siege, and Jeremiah prays the line we all need to remember: “Nothing is too hard for you.” We unpack what that means on a hard day: God’s power never runs out, God’s power is still available, and God can turn a painful journey into a testimony even when he asks us to trust him in the fire.

If you’re carrying something heavy, we invite you to bring it to God in prayer. If you’re ready to give your life to Jesus, we would love to talk with you. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review so more people can find the message.

  • YHWH (Exodus 3) 1- God is Holy

God doesn’t get smaller, but our view of Him can. When that happens, anxiety feels louder, problems feel heavier, and faith turns into survival mode. We kick off a new series on YHWH with one aim: clear away the haze and see God as He really is, not as “a little better than us,” but as mind-blowingly different.

We go to Exodus 3 where God speaks from the burning bush and gives Moses His covenant name: “I AM WHO I AM.” Yahweh is eternally present, unique, and the sustainer of all things. That name isn’t trivia for Bible nerds, it’s a lifeline for everyday life. When the news is chaotic and your personal world feels unstable, Yahweh is not refreshing a feed in panic. He reigns unshaken, and His steadiness can become yours.

Then we step into Isaiah 6, a scene so holy it shakes the room. Isaiah’s honest response is fear and unworthiness, but God’s holiness doesn’t end in shame. It leads to cleansing, forgiveness, and a new kind of confidence that can finally say, “Here I am, send me.” We also share a simple practice that hits home: breathe slowly and remember the nearness of Yahweh, even in the middle of stress, grief, or conflict.

  • One Church (Acts 2) 4- Living The Mission

If faith is real, it shows up somewhere besides a church seat. We wrestle with that uncomfortable truth by walking through Acts 2:42-47 and asking what “One Church” looks like when it actually lives the mission through service, generosity, and everyday sacrifice.

We talk about the two directions of service we see in the early church: serving each other and serving the mission of Jesus. Along the way, a simple reminder hits hard: “service to others is the rent we pay for being human.” That idea turns ordinary, inconvenient moments into opportunities for discipleship. We also unpack a short story about two workers with water glasses that exposes what drives us most: checking whether others have enough, or checking whether they have more than us.

From there, we shift into mission-mindedness. Like a constant state of readiness, Christian purpose means living as salt and light, not keeping faith trapped in the “shaker.” We name the tension many churches feel with the 80/20 reality and move into a clear contrast between a believer and a disciple: devotion that leads to action, and sacrifice that quietly forms us even when nobody notices.

If you want a practical next step, we close with a direct challenge to serve through prayer for someone you don’t know. Subscribe for more, share this with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a review that tells us: what’s one way you can live the mission this week?

  • One Church (Acts 2) 3- United In Prayer

Prayer can turn into a last-minute order we place when life gets loud, but that version of faith leaves us rushed, anxious, and stuck. Today we slow everything down and look at prayer the way Scripture actually describes it: an intimate, honest conversation with God that includes worship, gratitude, confession, repentance, forgiveness, and long stretches of listening. We start in Acts 2, where the Holy Spirit arrives with power and the New Testament church is born, then we follow Acts 2:42 to the part we often neglect most, unity in prayer.

We walk step-by-step through the Lord’s Prayer as a practical template for a deeper prayer life. “Our Father in heaven” is more than a greeting; it re-positions our hearts and reminds us we have real access to God because Jesus tore the veil. From there we move into praise, surrender to God’s will, daily provision, confession, forgiving others, and spiritual protection. If you’ve ever wondered why your prayers feel unheard, we also talk through biblical heart-checks like unconfessed or cherished sin, doubt, wrong motives, ignoring the needs of others, mistreating your spouse, and holding unforgiveness, plus the possibility that God is steering you toward something better.

Then we get painfully practical: what does it mean to “pray without ceasing” in daily life, and what could change if God became our first reflex instead of our last resort? We close with a picture of intercession that raises the stakes, Abraham pleading for a city, and a challenge to become one church that prays like someone’s life depends on it, because it does. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find it.
