In a new recurring theme called House-Stories, we're chatting with home owners about their home buying/selling process, what went well, what went wrong, and what we can all learn from each other. This week we're talking with Bloomington resident and local business owner, Jaimie Schwartzman, about her House-Story. It's your weekly dose of REAL real estate advice!
Jaimie Schwartzman grew up in Golden Valley, Minnesota. Graduating with honors from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1999 with a degree in Physical & Health Education, she aspired to teach elementary school and coach volleyball. Moving to Bloomington in 2000, Jaimie began substitute teaching and coaching volleyball. While searching for a full-time teaching position, she got a part-time job in 2001 at BuffaLouie's. Quickly recognizing Jaimie's work ethic, ambition toward excellence, and affable professional presence, the owners of BuffaLouie's made her the managing partner in 2006. Five years later, she and her husband became the owner of one of the most iconic eateries in southern Indiana! Jaimie and her husband, Ed, married in 2009, are dedicated to BuffaLouie's as their family venture. Their daughter, Avery, and son Elliot are often around to greet guests. Jaimie has embraced Bloomington, actively giving her time and resources to the community that has blessed her and her family.
