In anticipation of Season Two, which will start recording soon, Natalie and Michaelis have decided to open their podcast vault and release this lost episode (which probably should have remained lost.) This is their original attempt at recording the first episode of the podcast. In the spirit of Rule 62 - Don't take yourself too damn seriously - we offer you the Real Recovery Podcast Lost Episode, which should probably just be entitled "Brown Boy."
We have saved this special episode with Sarha as our season finale - please don't miss this one! Sarha and Natalie met early on in Sarha's recovery journey and the Big Book study process instantly became an intrinsic part of her recovery. Sarha is truly an example of willingness in action and you will be inspired to hear her story and how she works with many people in the book - even people with years more sobriety that she has.
Thank you to everyone for the support as we have created this special podcast to share that meetings-based recovery is quite different than the recovery that is in the book, Alcoholics Anonymous. Our podcast has showcased the miracles that can occur as the result of this process and the lives that have changed.
Please listen and share this podcast far and wide to show others that recovery is possible no matter if you have one day or one decade clean and sober.
If you have experienced the miracle yourself, please reach out - you may be invited to be a future guest! For now, reach out to us via the links provided to connect further. In love and service, Natalie and Michaelis
