For all my music heads out there this segment is for you. Every two weeks here on Real Soulful, we'll have discussions on all things music! 

This week we decided to start with the GOAT that is Kendrick Lamar. He just dropped a new album and man it's worth the dissecting because this album is filled with so many themes you actually have to take a moment to sit down and take it all in. 

Mr Morale & The Big Steppers! It's been out for a week and we want to know where this ranks in your Kendrick discography? Did this album meet the long awaited expectation from one of music's greats or are we yet again unhappy with what this album has to offer? 

I hope you guys have been enjoying the extra content from #Quickly... with my faves Korede & Dami but I'm back now!! Yeahhh back to the regular degular programming of RS so you guys can get of your knees and stop crying now!

I would like to publicly apologise for my absence because UNI is now UNIVERSITY and the LLB is the mayor in this SITY. Yes I write my own raps. So whilst I'm finishing this degree, I still have to upload here because well... who's going to? So I've come back with a good friend of mine called Tomi AKA "When She Speaks" and boy when she spoke it was truly amazing. (ON BRAND) 

She's an Artist, Poet and overall lover of music so we got into it about where her influence comes from and her journey to redemption. You see where I'm going with this? Good.

- The 9-5er is played out. Apparently women are still screaming they want flexibility in entrepreneurs over the 9-5 job. Please ladies, we've had enough! What do you guys want? Dami thinks you shouldn't have to change yourself for anyone so don't go and start a business because your wcw said she wants an entrepreneur o !  

Hey... you hear that? No seriously, listen closely... can't you hear it? We just made the agreement and you guys missed it goddamn it!

What's that TikTok sound i keep hearing again? "STAND UPPPP" cause we some big guests in the studio this week. A couple of besties decided to take the mic this week and we gathered a few things from this week's episode for sure. Firstly, Queenda making money now so shout out to her cause she gon' forget about us real soon. The corporate world got her by the collar and she loving each and every minute of it. Turns out we drink on Thursdays and not Fridays. 

Tomi thinks she can fight... silly I know but the hair pulling game is her bag so if your hair just got laid I suggest you stay clear of her. Drinking on Thursdays, fighting and the Rib story. I mentioned the Rib story because it seems like women be breaking up their friendships over meat... how ironic! 

That story didn't make the cut guys sorry but it taught me something very important. Competition is real within friendships and hence why we have the silent agreement... or don't we? I'm sure we can all attest that everyone knows their role within the friendship group or am I to assume that "all your friends are pretty" ladies? hahaha joss kidding!

They say introducing your potential partner to your friends is a bit like the hunger games... Ruthless!

Personally, being told my potential partner isn't good looking or alluding to the idea that I could do better means we gotta fight here on the spot cause what on earth is going on here baby? Still hanging around when you got all thisss! I don't know if I'm built to take that or maybe my friends have my best interest at heart and just want me to be with someone they believe is a good fit. Either way we'll figure that out once the fight is over. 

Looks like Real Soulful got in the streets this week so shoutout to the guys on 4TS keeping the streets alive right now! The mandem joined me in the studio and boy did we have a laugh so go and sit down cause it's RS time!

And the award for best slap goes to... wait I'm pretty sure that's not an award nomination at the Oscars but they better start including it cause boy did we not see it coming! Getting slapped is one thing but getting slapped on national television just hits different (no pun intended). I promise I write my own material ladies and gentlemen.

Did Chris Rock deserve to get slapped? Should Will Smith have dealt with it backstage? Someone said Chris Rock's chin is still sizzling after the slap and I haven't stopped laughing. Hey, I know, what the hell in the TMZ is going on here with this week's episode but damn, you get to 76 episodes and you start reaching out your ass for content.

You know when someone comes to your home and starts moving things around and just messes up the Feng-Shui ?? Like bro what are you doing!?

 Now I know why my teachers had seating arrangements back in school... Turns out they were right cause this episode started with Dami getting onto me for being a loyal member to 3 mobile network. Even when I'm loyal it's still a problem...Can't win out here. Insert DMX lyric >"what you b****es what from a nigga" cause I'm tired man. 

The girls tried to uncover who Gbenga spent his birthday with like a man can't just enjoy a nice meal on his own and head back to his hotel... If you're reading this it's not too late to send Gbengz a present and wish him a happy birthday! 

From birthdays to talking about love being a choice. Do you choose daily to love someone and how blurred are the lines when you do something wrong but still proclaim you love the person? All this love stuff on a Wednesday night I know it's heavy! Blame the seating change man and then blame my friends. 

Speaking of friends, Ladies help me out. Is having too many female friends a problem when dating a guy?

There are singers, then there are SINGERS! Looks like we have a aSINGER in the building this week and boy are we blessed to have her. 

This week I sat down with Becca Folkes, a powerful worship leader and Gospel artist and she took us to church! So if you haven't heard the word this week then you're in for a treat because she really came to preach even though she said Pastoring isn't for her but we know the truth Becca *wink wink*

We spoke about music and the art of worship. Beyond the Spotify playlists and fancy harmonies, what does it mean to truly worship? She made it known that worship is a lifestyle and is deeper than the theatrics we're usually accustomed to.
