The Austin area has seen more proportionate growth from net migration than any other major U.S. even BEFORE COVID. According to an analysis by the Austin Chamber of Commerce Director who analyzed the U.S. Census Bureau's Annual Population Estimates data, Austin Texas population has grown by about 150 per day in the last 10 years! So what's going on with the real estate market here as a result? I sit down with the Austin Texas Compass Founding agent Guy Oberg to discuss the state of this city, the real estate market in Austin & around the Lake Travis area, & what his thoughts are in this business from the past to the future. We also touch upon his go-to restaurants, bars, & venues around Austin, his younger college days at The University of Texas at Austin, his family, & his wife/business partner Morgan Oberg. Follow Guy & his journey of life in Austin at @guyoberg3 & @theoberggroup on IG.
Frank Suriano, AKA Franklin Crab (derived from Brooklyn Crab), aka Baby Frank (the skinny fit Frank), hails from the Palm Beach Florida area. Frank is a friend, colleague, and industry vet with NYC Compass. We first met when Urban Compass was pivoting business models to resemble what we are today, working as an understudy / Jr Broker of another top team in NYC. He comes on the show to describe his come up, how he quickly became a successful broker upon leaving his old team, and what is he currently working on at present time. We also discuss the inner workings of his enormous 8 figure sales deal on a 1031 exchange, how I scared him by interjecting my thoughts into the deal (only by accident), and where his future is headed as we wrap up 2021. Follow Frank's journey on IG at @fsuriano & website www.franksuriano.com

David is one of the most successful individuals I have encountered in my life, and probably one of the top serial entrepreneurs in NYC in the last 10 years. Success can be defined in various ways, both subjectively and objectively. But to rattle off a few facts, David's completed his undergrad at Duke, attended HBS, & worked in the corporate field at Bain for a few years, published a book "Money Makers", (available on Amazon), all before turning 30.
We met around 8 years ago at Urban Compass, at a small loft office in Soho with just a few brokers and a dozen engineers. He started there as the COO, then eventually became the CFO & handled the financial operations of Compass until it became a $2B company.
Fast forward to today, David is the founder & CEO of Harness Wealth, an early-stage consumer wealth tech company dedicated to helping clients unlock financial opportunities to achieve their best financial future through their customized approach. Find out how:
-To pick the right team after a liquidity event
-Securing your financial future by picking you the right financial advisory team
-Tax structures that small business owners may not be aware of that is to the benefit of a business owner
