The level of contention in this Republican primary process was so intense is it even possible to repair the divide to give Trump a real chance at the White House?

I am already getting feedback that the divide is too deep, the hurt too painful for reconcilliation.

I am hoping that this is not the truth, today, is too soon for anyone to "make the flip" There were some pretty harsh words exchanged between the candidates and even between the supporters of the candidates. This is the danger of the "knock down drag out" primary rhetoric.

I saw this in the Florida Governor's primary a few years ago. Candidates must remember that their supporters take on the nature of the rhetoric spewed back forth between into their personal dealing with people that for the most part have been working together. It can be divistaing to realationships.

It is all over but the shouting. Ted Cruz after getting beaten in Indiana tonight has suspended his campaign for the Republican nomination. This gives Donald Trump a clear path to the Republican nomination. The 1237 threshold seems easy at this point for Trump. 

 

Many are cheering tonight, others are angry vowing that they are "done" with the Republican party forever. There is still time to go with the process but the near future seems clear. Trump will win the nomination BEFORE the Republican convention and will go one ot be the noninee. 

What will happen in Novemember frankly is anyone's guess. The more interesting question I think is what role will the Republican party and rank and file Republicans play in the November elections?  There are many posting that the will vote for whoever opposes Clinton but will not support or campaign for them. Frankly, I find myself in that camp as well.

The NFL draft, the NHL PLayoffs the NBA playoffs we will talk about it all tonight. Right now there is so much going on in pro-sports it is getting tough to keep it all striaght. 

Tonight we will do a quick review of the NFL draft.

We are going to look into the NBA playoffs to find that they are preceeding according to plan as the Warriors are still finding ways to win.

I often wonder why big companies get involvd in these discussions. Why Does Target believe they are siding with the "down-trodden" LGBT commuity? And why do they think allowing men to use the ladies room and dressing rooms is a supportive act?

Do they understand or care at all about who their base customer is? Why would you intentially upset them with an announced position when this could have been handled on a case by case nasis in the stores? 

They had to see the LGBT boycott of Chic-Fil-A. I backfired and Chic-Fil-A is still benefitting from it. So it makes me think that there must be some economic pressure from the inside that bullied them into this madness.
