Being a new parent can be overwhelming, confusing, and exhausting.

Oh yeah and obviously wonderful, definitely wonderful to stare at that sweet baby angel face.

Anyway, back to the overwhelming and confusing bits. This week Kaila had the opportunity to talk with Pediatrician and mom, Dr. Elham Raker, about some of the most common issues new parents encounter and often come into her office wanting to discuss. Parenting in the time of Dr. Google and the Mom-fluencer can lead to information overload so Kaila decided it was time to speak with an expert. Dr. El and Kaila (okay mostly the pediatrician, hello) put on their myth busting hats and dove into topics such as spoiling a baby, breastfeeding, and more. Knowing the correct information as a new parent can relieve some of the "Am I doing this right??" Stress while also building your parental confidence and instincts.
