Sometimes bad things happen to good people, and good people don’t understand why. This often leads to self-destruction because we walk away from God and place our faith in something or someone else.

Your spiritual maturity determines whether you experience victory or defeat when suffering comes.

The blessings we have are only ours because the Lord has allowed us to have them. Through Edom, we learn that pride destroys everything it touches and only leads to our downfall.
