The remote collar, electronic collar, "shock" collar--whatever you want to call it--is an AMAZING communication device. It allows you and your dog to speak a language you both understand. It allows you to have off-leash reliability. It allows you to train new behaviors and stop unwanted/dangerous ones. It's probably the most versatile tool ever created, and we want to break the imagined harm myths you hear out there about them. This tool can be used in so many ways, and think it's important that owners understand they're not JUST used for punishment, and they're also not ONLY used to teach obedience.
