Who is Michael Oher?
Michael Oher is a former NFL player and Super Bowl champion.
His life story inspired the Oscar-winning movie The Blind Side.
He played college football at the University of Mississippi. In 2009, the Baltimore Ravens drafted Oher in the first round. He played for the Ravens for five seasons and was a member of the team that won Super Bowl XLVII.
He also played for the Tennessee Titans and Carolina Panthers.
Oher's life was the subject of Michael Lewis' 2006 book, The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game. The book was adapted into the 2009 film The Blind Side.

Oher has said that the film negatively impacted his career. He told ESPN that people make assumptions about him based on how he was portrayed in the film.

Oher has also written two books. He has four children with his wife, Tiffany Roy.
What is going on with Michael Oher?
In February 2023, Oher discovered that he was never legally adopted by Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy. He claims that he was tricked into entering a conservatorship after his 18th birthday.
The conservatorship gave the Tuohys legal authority over his business deals.
Oher alleges that the Tuohys made millions from the story.
