Tasting Tequila with Brad

Real Tequila Is BACK | Arisagada Review

Listen Later

Arisagada Tequila is one of the most traditional and authentic tequilas being made today. Cooked underground, mashed by hand in a wooden canoe with mallets, fermented in wooden tinas, and wood-fire distilled in copper — this tequila is made the way tequila, raicilla, and mezcal were produced in the 1800s.

In this review, Brad breaks down the production methods, aroma, tasting notes, finish, and the story behind Roberto Real and how he brought this ancestral style to NOM 1459. This brand is about to become more widely available through Package Group, so keep your eye on it!

If you love real agave, no additives, heritage production, and flavor complexity, this is a tequila you’ll want to try.
