"Sales" is about making a connection. Some of you have internalized the fact you need to tell your story but sometimes you need to literally shut up and listen. They already know your story. It is what drew them to you. Now it is time for you to know theirs.

The do's and don'ts of a sale's call can be frustrating. For instance, how long do I let them talk, when is it safe to make my offer? Did I scare them away? Did I tell them too much and they don't need me. I can write a list a mile long.

To make the process more smooth ou have to learn to lead the conversation down the path to work with you. Most importantly you have to stop talking so much so you can get the information you need to have the client convinced they are ready to move forward.

When you are the kind of person who naturally goes above and beyond you have to charge more. Trying to regulate how you serve won't work.

For all of the energy you outpour you need to charge accordingly. It prevents feeling resentful and it positions you to serve the kind of clients who will appreciate how you serve.
