I realized that I was trying to express my love through material possessions, thinking that gifts and grand gestures would communicate the depth of my feelings. But God showed me that love goes beyond what we can give or do—it's about the heart behind it.

This revelation didn't just apply to my relationship with my husband, but also reflected how I sometimes approach my relationship with God. I had been subconsciously trying to earn God’s love, thinking that I needed to do more to receive more of His love. But the truth is, God's love for us is unconditional, unfailing, and limitless—there is nothing we can do to make Him love us more or less.
