Realities Of Domestic Violence

Listen Later

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Today's episode hits home specifically to myself, and many others. I am joined by my friend and sister in spirit- Celestine Hendrix. Celestine will be celebrating her 5 year survivorsary of leaving a relationship in which she experienced domestic violence, by the hands of someone she trusted and loved. I will also share experiences of my own, in hopes of bringing continued awareness to everyone about how common domestic violence is, and what red flags and signs to look for, whether you are the "victim" or witness to someone you think may be in an unsafe situation.

The purpose is to make others aware of the things that are happening right under our noses, and how we can help, support, and BE PRESENT for our loved ones.Ā
