Reality Hunt Club

This webisode marks the end of Season 1 so we take a look back at all 43 webisodes and do a short recap. It has been a remarkable year and I am glad you let us bring these webisodes to you to view. Stay tuned for Season 2 which we have already started working on. Thank you for watching.

In this webisode, watch me shoot a nice management doe. I briefly discuss how we try to shoot different ages weights of does to equally distribute the harvest over all the age classes. Do not laugh too hard when I say passion a couple of times when I meant to say passive. Also watch how fast these mature does can smell you if the wind swirls and changes directions. Enjoy the video.

In this webisode, Chuck and his daughter were hunting for the three legged buck when they had these encounters with these young bucks. I want to thank Chuck for sharing his video.

I have never seen a deer make legendary status like a buck we call 911. We first started following him during the 2008 - 2009 season. There were 3 of us hunting this deer over this time. His movements were like a ghost. Every once in a while we got a couple of photos of him and then he would disappear for a while. Then this year, we figured him to be at least 5 1/2 years old, one of us said that we were going to get him. Sure enough, the unpatternable deer started showing up at feeders before se

After hunting hard since September 10, I finally got a shot at a mature buck. I had a few chances at Sway but just could not close the deal. During the pre rut and rut, all I could see was young bucks chasing. Well, this morning late in the rut, I made it happened. We call him the Blur buck because we always got trail camera photos of him that were blurry due to him running by the camera. Watch the video for the story. He is not the biggest on the club, but he is 4 1/2 years old and my reward for

Last year I got a series of trail camera photos of this three legged buck. We did not see him any du

I captured this video of 2 young bucks courting this doe fawn. I thought it was pretty cool footage and I decided to include it in a webisode.

Well, I have been hunting Sway off and on this season with four different encounters during this season. Especially the one with him at 25 yards during bow season, but I could not get a shot. My Dad came over and he had only been here for 5 hours and he killed Sway. Watch this webisode of his after the shot interview and a look back at the history we had with this magnificent home grown buck.

This webisode includes some pre-rut videos of some nice bucks and one big buck that came in after legal shooting hours. You can barely see him due to the low light but you can see how his posture signals a very mature buck. Enjoy all of these encounters with my comments.

Back in October, I unboxed the new PlotWatcher Pro by Day 6 Outdoors and discussed its new features and capabilities. I put it in the field the day before opening gun season here in Georgia, and let me tell you it did not disappoint. I was blown away with the improvements. Watch this video for my remarks and sample videos and then go get you one or two.
