Why are humans so determined to explore Mars?

I watched a documentary about our decades-long attempt to understand the Red Planet—from satellites orbiting Mars to rovers driving across its surface and the bigger dream of eventually sending humans there.

But this isn't really a documentary review.

I'm talking about the parts that fascinated me, the things that made me laugh, the questions that popped into my head, and what all this effort says about us as humans.

We've sent machines millions of miles through space just so we can look around another planet.

And apparently that's still not enough.

So… are we actually going to Mars? 🚀
