Really From

Really From is a podcast of the band Really From hosted by me, Chris Lee-Rodriguez, where I talk to musicians and artists on identity, culture, and inhabiting white spaces in the music scene. I also talk with members and collaborators of the band about how we made our most recent self-titled LP, the process of making music, and what the album means to us.

On this episode, I talked to Nnamdi Ogbonnaya and Samuel Ogoe about code switching, religion, and hiding your music from your parents.

On this episode, I talked to Jeremy Hunter of Skatune Network, JER, and We Are the Union about intergenerational trauma, surviving white supremacy, and merging the personal and political in our music. Jer is a day one homie, and I'm so happy we got to go deep in this conversation.
