Dan Rayburn digs into Roku (ROKU) earnings; the stock is up over 7% into the close in Friday’s session. He is confident in their ability to maintain double-digit platform revenue growth, but wishes there was clearer data on memberships. “Roku’s in a really interesting position,” he argues, because it’s a platform rather than a hardware company. Ad revenue is “extremely important,” and they’ve been putting more money behind that segment. Dan doesn’t think AI will replace how media is created and distinguishes Roku from other streaming services.
