The Australian Bureau of Statistics has released the employment statistics from December 2024. 

The statistics revealed the rate of employment increased, unemployment remained and underemployment decreased. 

Economic Futurist Evan Lucas told Shane Doherty on Summer Drive, "Overall, if you look at it, it's really impressive."

"If you look at what we refer to as underutilisation and under-employed those two figures at figures we haven't seen in decades," Mr Lucas continued.
