Really? Really. episodes

  • Episode 9 - A Letter To Our Younger (Pre-University) Selves

In our recent episodes, we talked about our time studying in university (the good, the bad and everything in between). To wrap up season 1 of our podcast journey (and what a great one it's been), we thought it'd only be appropriate to end it on a wholesome and reflective note with a letter to our pre-university selves. Writing a letter to our younger selves was a raw, honest and introspective process, and we'd love for nothing more than to share our letters with you, in hopes that you'd feel a little comfort.

  • Episode 8 - Making Friends, Friendships, Clubbing & Drinking at University

University isn't just about getting a degree (although it wouldn't be a bad idea to at least pass it); it's a period of our lives where we meet like-minded people who are also the same age as us, make friends, explore, learn from our mistakes, have fun and the list goes on. In this episode, we talk about our expectations and experiences with making friends at university (and how it turned out to be very different from primary and secondary school), maintaining those friendships and what we enjoy doing for fun (for Vy Wien, drinking was definitely a part of it).

  • Episode 7 - Studying at Imperial College London (our degrees, debunking myths, imposter syndrome, dealing with stress)
University has played a huge part in our lives - everything from how we first decided which degree to pursue to where we are now (still stumbling through life and trying to figure ourselves out hahaa), university has definitely shaped us into who we are today. In this episode, we talk about the different STEM subjects we study, debunk some myths about Imperial and get personal about our experiences dealing with imposter syndrome and stress.

  • Episode 6 - Random Conversation Starters Pt 1 (weird food combos, nostalgic songs, noise-making condoms?)

Ever in need of a (random) conversation starter? Whether you're wondering what to talk about on a first date or maybe conversations with some of your friends are beginning to go a little stale - we've got you covered.

With that, we present to you episode 6 of the Really? Really. podcast, where we get too busy with uni-related stuff to plan content so we decided to pick 9 out of '350 Good Questions To Ask' to answer.

This was a super fun and chill episode, and we had a lot of fun recording (we even learnt an extra thing or two about each other!)

  • Episode 3 - What Do Our Dreams Mean?

We decided to try a fun, new format for this episode, inspired by the ‘HOW DID WE GET HERE’ podcast hosted by Jae and Alexa. The both of us really enjoy listening to this podcast, which has a bizarre yet brilliant concept to it - it makes you laugh, ponder the meaning of life and is all in all, a very entertaining listen. For this episode, the topic we chose to discuss is ‘What Do Our Dreams Mean?’, the articles mentioned are linked below:

  • Episode 1 - Travelling With Friends
As you know, we’re still in the midst of a pandemic; travelling is not as convenient as it used to be, and in some places it’s restricted. So, we thought it’d be fun to talk about ‘Travelling With Friends’ during the pre-COVID days and it would be a nice way to escape the reality we are in right now.
