Hello everyone, and welcome to the first edition of Realm News Clips. I am your host The Dark Lord. This is an extra or addition to episode 7 "Badlandia Baby" that was released simultaneously with this. I will be covering the upcoming mob that is due to release with the 1.21 update this summer. I will also be covering the real life armadillo and then wrap up the show with my responses from minecraft comments that were written to my question that I posed on Reddit asking "What do you build in the Badlands?" I got some great feedback that I want to share with all of you.

Welcome to the Badlands! With your host, The Dark Lord. The host who puts "Real in Realm, and expands, you mind one block at a time!" This is a real exciting episode that wraps up a trilogy of harsh biomes. I will be covering the badlands in the game of Minecraft and comparing that to the real life Badlands found in South Dakota.
Have you ever been curious of what is to be found in the great sand dunes that cover the vast desert biomes of the Overworld? If so, I urge you to join me, your host, The Dark Lord on an epic adventure into the Great Farthian Desert.
It is here where I will describe to you the ancient desert temples. I will go into the Ankhs that are all over the exterior of the building. I will introduce to you new secret rooms full of loot and archaeological finds. Also a glance at the wildlife and hostile mobs that roam this territory. So, brace yourself for an adventure!

Welcome to Episode 3 with your host The Dark Lord. Ever wondered how long maps have been on earth? I will cover that. How about a guy named Claudius Ptolemy?
Welcome to another episode of Realm News! With your host The Dark Lord. In this episode we are covering the Mooshroom Island biomes in the game of Minecraft in the Overworld. These isolated biomes are a place of mystere. We are going to be covering a whole bunch of topics and I am throwing in some polls that I put on Reddit and read those results to you and also read a part of a description from a fellow Minecraft enthusiast mesmerfriend(Time Stamp:46:00). We will be talking about the mycelium block and its attributes from an article I found here by, (Guitierrez, Luis Joshua, et al. “Mycelium -Minecraft Guide.” IGN, 3 June 2012, www.ign.com/wikis/minecraft/Mycelium.) And how to obtain the mycelium block by using “Silk Touch” (Time Stamp:17:00) Reference: (“Silk Touch.” Minecraft Wiki, Minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Silk_Touch). We will delve into real life mycelium with an article by Johnston,Eddie, and Grace Brewer. (“Mycelium:Exploring the Hidden Dimension of Fungi-Kew.”Www.kew.org, 11 Mar. 2023), and the descriptions of the Mooshroom and their function (Wiltshire, Alex, et Al. Mobeastiary. New York, Del Rey, 2017. Pgs.16-17, then onto fly agaric and the land of Beringuia (Time Stamp: 37:30) that I found online by (Mitton, Jeff. “Fly Agaric and Related Death Cap Mushrooms Synthesize Dangerous Chemicals.” Colorado Arts and Sciences Magazine, 31 Aug. 2021) , mushroom affects in game from (Minecraft.fandom.com, Time Stamp: 43:19) and an amazingly creepy video by National Geographic that went alongside an amazingly written piece by Lu, Jennifer. “How a parasitic Fungus Turns Ants into Zombies.” National Geographic, 18 April. 2019). We are tying together this theory of the Mooshroom biome to real world article listed above. I believe that the Mooshroom biome is responsible for the zombie apocalypse as we know it today in the Overworld. Again, this is a theory but I back it with science and research and provide you fun facts and facts and functionality of blocks and mobs! Take a seat and let me read to you a Realm News!!!
