The Holy Spirit is arguably the part of the Godhead that people know the least about. The Father and Son have roles that are more easily recognized, while the Holy Spirit can seem more mysterious. This becomes a problem when we start treating the Holy Spirit as an "IT" and not as a unique person. Does the Holy Spirit have personhood? Does he have emotions? Does he have goals?
