Reason for Truth

Today's Podcast comes from our Knowledge Base Question #3 with Del Potter @Delology and Steven Garofalo @steve_Garofalo. Who was Eve in the Bible? Eve in the Bible was the wife of Adam, the first man that God created. Eve was the mother Cain and Abel and Seth the "other son's and daughters" (Genesis 4:1-2, 25; 5:4). Eve was the first woman, the first wife, and the first mother in the world. Tune in for to hear more!

How can we better live our Christian faith in 2020. The President of the United States calls on Christians to be exemplars of the Christian faith in the new 2020 New Year. A couple married 80 years gives us some tips on marriage that we can take into the New Year as explores for Christ. And, a white Christian State Trooper in Texas pulls over a car with African Americans in it and after finding out that they are on their way to a funeral-asks to pray for them. This is how we heal a nation. This is how we unify America. All this is best accomplished when we exemplify our Lord Jesus Christ in every area-barred none, of our lives. This includes our work, our friendships, family, work place and interaction with other fellow human beings, even when they appear to be different than us. I pray for a unifying 2020 New Year for you and your family. I hope today's podcast blesses you.

This is the 3rd Part of our three part series on dealing with our stress and anxiety biblically. Today wraps up this series by first acknowledging that stress and anxiety do exist in this joyous Christmas season. Second, we will look at what the Bible says about anxiety and how to respond to the things that bring on that anxiety from a biblical perspective. I pray that this will give you hope and lead to you the source of that hope which is Jesus Christ, born a babe intentionally to be made a sacrifice for YOUR sins and MINE. Jesus faced anxiety in knowing that he was about to be put to death and take on the weight of our sins for the entire world for all time. We serve a Lord who has been there and is telling us, "I got this"-those been my words and not His. Tune in now to hear the last part of our series on what the Bible tells us about anxiety.

Our stressed is often self-induced. Wealth, on any level, materialism, drive to succeed and influence can be good when placed behind God, but creates anxiety when we worship these idols as something before Him.
