Religion and science have been fighting over the sovereignty of interpretation for centuries. For example, when it comes to the question of how our earth actually came into being. Both sides appear to be irreconcilable. But appearances are deceiving. South African astronomer Professor David Block, for example, proves that religion and science can work together. He will be visiting Windhoek for some lectures next week. We spoke to him in advance.
In this episode, Dr. David Block shares with us how he came to believe in Jesus. While a young Jewish astronomer, Dr. Block did not believe in a God who personally revealed himself to people. But as Dr. Block shares about his love for the Bible, his testimony, his joys, how he met his wife, and about the ministry he directs called Reasons to Believe (Africa), you will see that he has come to know the Lord Jesus, who reveals himself to us personally in a myriad of ways. “Always look up. Never give up.” —Dr. David Block
