  • Agent Orange
This song, another Timmy and Bobby song, uses Agent Orange as a metaphor for the destruction of Earth. It deals with the idea that all of existence came into being at once.
In other words, everything that happened, is happening, and will happen is already there. Like a record, all the music is there, embedded in the wax; the needle going across it is the way we experience it, just as moving through time allows us to experience all this pre-destined shit.
Some of this pre-destined shit is the suffering of all the beings on Earth and, indeed, the destruction of the Earth (as mentioned above).

  • I Was an Earthquake
This song is about the possibility that I was an earthquake in a past life. It makes a reference to the fact that in the 1906 Earthquake, people found butter on their ceilings because the shaking was intense enough to make butter fly from their kitchen tables up to the ceiling. It's another one of those Timmy and Bobby songs from the album I'm working on.

  • Dornstrife, Von Saskatoon
One morning, I woke up, and the hook of this song was playing in a dream. It was like all, "Dornstrife, Von Saskatoon." That's where this song came from. Timmy and Bobby, who are the main characters of the album I'm working on, are considering going to a sweat lodge, but they're not sure about the woman who is running it. Dornstrife and Von Saskatoon are spirits Timmy and Bobby are in communication with.
See, she's not Native and they're not sure if it's cultural appropriation, and all that. "Operator," as in a telephone operator is a metaphor for the woman running the lodge. Y'know, a telephone operator regulates communication between people calling each other. The sweat lodge operator is regulating communication between spirits and the people attending the lodge.

  • Loved Animals
This is a song about how we used to be like other animals, and the Garden of Eden allegory is about how we became not like other animals. We god dumb and made the Earth sad.
Listening to it, I realized,in retrospect, the lyrics also point to a recent very-bad trauma I had. Traumas are bad. You remember the time before it happened as being a time of innocence in your life (similar to the Garden of Eden) and the time during and after the trauma as being the horrible-bad time (similar to bein' cast outta that old Garden of Eden).

  • Let's Stay
The picture for this episode went in the bit bucket. Then I tried to repost it and the whole thing went in the bit bucket. If I was dying and someone told me I could only leave one song behind, I'd tell them it'd be this one.

  • Ants in My Pants/Bacteria in My Brain
I've been having these fucked up neurological symptoms and one person said it might be bacteria that's crossed the blood brain barrier. That's what this song is about; it uses ants in one's pants as a metaphor for bacteria in one's brain.

  • Let's Stay
If I was dying in a ditch, and someone said, "you can only leave one song behind. Which shall it be?" I'd've said it would be this one. I wrote it about a week after the big earthquake of 2019.

  • Sinking Ship
This song pays tribute to Linkin Park and their song, "Shadow of the Day." It takes the same set of lyrics and presents them as a rap, followed by an old timey country music (or maybe it's folksy?) version of them.

  • Can I Sleep In Your Mouth
This is a song about the world changing really fast. I'm not sure if it takes place now or in the future, but in any event, lots of people have died and their spirits are trying to find a haven to go to in the afterlife. They don't know to "go towards the light," so they're tryin' to hop on board living humans. They want to sleep in my mouth.

  • She Changed Ladies
This is another song that came from a dream. This song is not sure what it's about, but I recorded it when I was in the middle of reading the Communion books and freaking out.
