I actually hate the word “marketing” - for most people, it’s a scary fuckin’ word. It represents overwhelm, stagnation, zero traction, and just something that gives them a bunch of to-dos. It’s also why I hate the word “funnel” - the connotations of the word just don’t match how useful (and simple) these guys are. So we’re gonna break it down and use some alternative language today, okay? Funnels are what makes your process for selling and promotion repeatable and SUSTAINABLE. Here’s why (and here’s our alternative language for today) - a funnel is essentially your service pathway. It’s the pathway or steps that someone would take from discovery to booking with you. One more time: a funnel is a service pathway - simply the steps that someone would take from discovery to booking with you. That’s it. It really is that simple. So, most people have a completely manual process for this. They are visible (which requires manual input) on social media or on stage, some avenue. And they are directly engaging with their audience, they do manual outreach and follow up and then follow up forever until you die. Just kidding, but there is a lot of follow up, a lot of chasing prospects down until they ghost or straight up say no, with a tiny percentage of people saying yes. If that’s you, listen up: THERE’S AN EASIER WAY. Listen to the episode to learn how >> LINKS: https://www.thepunkproject.org/resources
