  • Ernie LaBrecque- William & Mary: America’s First “Masonic College” — History or Myth?

The College of William & Mary is often called “America’s First Masonic College”—but is that history or myth?

While Freemasons didn’t officially found the school, it became home to the earliest collegiate secret societies in the nation, including the Flat Hat Club (1750) and Phi Beta Kappa (1776). From mysterious traditions to symbolic architecture, William & Mary has long inspired speculation about hidden influences and esoteric legacies.

  • The Science of the Dogon: Decoding the African Mystery Tradition

Discussion with author Laird Scranton about The Science of the Dogon: Decoding the African Mystery Tradition.

"The Science of the Dogon offers a case-by-case comparison of Dogon descriptions and drawings to corresponding scientific definitions and diagrams from authors like Stephen Hawking and Brian Greene, then extends this analysis to the counterparts of these symbols in both the ancient Egyptian and Hebrew religions. What is ultimately revealed is the scientific basis for the language of the Egyptian hieroglyphs, which was deliberately encoded to prevent the knowledge of these concepts from falling into the hands of all but the highest members of the Egyptian priesthood. The Science of the Dogon also offers compelling new interpretations for many of the most familiar Egyptian symbols, such as the pyramid and the scarab, and presents new explanations for the origins of religiously charged words such as Jehovah and Satan." -Amazon

About rebirthoftheword

From the publisher's feed

I decided to create this podcast because I have a strong curiosity about ancient mysteries, especially ancient civilizations and their gods. After doing a lot of reading and research, I realized that I wanted to share my knowledge and also learn from others. I want to gather all the information I can find and keep it in one central location to continue my research.
