Reboot Already Underway

It's a free-for-all as the guys pick their favorite action sequences in film, but they're able to settle on "blowing up Hitler" as a standard. The three also see no cure for the Maze Runner series' mediocrity, Aaron's picks win the Die Hard casting segment and David and Jacob think The Commuter...went off the rails...

With the Oscars on the horizon, Aaron and Jacob begin their look at the Best Picture nominees with Greta Gerwig's delightful Lady Bird. As probably expected from a film that expertly entwines so many emotions, experiences, and encounters, the two get a bit lost weaving their own backgrounds and beliefs into the discourse.

The guys reveal what upcoming films they're looking forward to, but, for the first year in a while, a Star Wars can't make the list. Also, Aaron wants 12 Strong's full title to get off its high horse, David finds The Shape of Water to be a bit murky, and Jacob can't catch them all when casting a Pokemon film.

Following the release of The Last Jedi, the guys look at Rian Johnson's earliest film. Aaron wants to talk about why the neo-noir high school drama is one of his favorite screenplays, but Jacob can't get a Phineas and Ferb song out of his head.

With another year behind them, the guys discuss the good, the bad, and the Bye Bye Man of the 116 movies they saw in 2017. Jacob has radio-man voice from being sick, so Aaron gleefully assumes hosting duties, while David gets a spotlight all his own...to talk Daddy's Home 2. Also, the winner of the competition is revealed!

The guys reunite in the New Year to talk spoilers of The Last Jedi, and realize they need a copyright lawyer when David cracks a new Han Solo script and Aaron and Jacob make Porg propaganda. They also don't so much 'recast' the roles of The Fast and The Furious as 'rearrange' them, and Aaron and Jacob have seen a lot of new releases as their competition enters its final stretch.

Tis the season, and the guys say "Bah Humbug" to those Christmas movies that belong on the naughty list. The three also talk about anything but the existence of a third Pitch Perfect film, struggle to replace the impeccable ensemble cast of The Room, and Aaron brings a festive "feminist" film to Bad Movie of the Week.

This week, Aaron and Jacob look at the classic oft-regarded as the #2 movie of all-time, Casablanca, and theorize about why the film has such lingering power 75 years later.

This week the group gathers to discuss the best moments throughout the Star Wars Saga.

This week, when Aaron is away, David and Jacob...talk about Mtn. Dew or something. Oh, they also talk about movies that they couldn't sit all the way through in one sitting and The Room.
