It all started with a big bang! As one of the longest-running and most well-known sitcoms in the modern television era, this show just had to be included on our podcast. Though we have mixed feelings about it, we try to talk about both the good and bad (and very bad) of this show, mostly focusing on nerd culture and the portrayal of women. We also give our review of the reboot, Young Sheldon, and take a quiz to see which Big Bang Theory character we are (fingers crossed that no one gets Howard Wolowitz).

As the theme song of this iconic Disney Channel show says, it's a family thing - a PROUD family thing. We always love revisiting the golden age of 2000s Disney Channel, and this show was one of the best from that era. As much as there was to rave about, we also get into some things the show could have handled better. Then, we give a review of the Louder and Prouder reboot. Young millennials, this one's for you!

Movie marathon time! This week we are talking about one of Ty's favorite movie franchises, specifically the first and original: Bring It On. Though we focus a lot on the movie that started it all, we do make time for all six movies (we are excluding the weird 7th horror movie because Rachel wanted no part of it). We had a lot of fun talking about the good, bad, and ugly (huge emphasis on the U-G-L-Y) of each of these cheerleading classics, so we think y'all will really enjoy this episode.

This week, we are travelling back to the 70s (and also the 90s technically speaking) to visit Point Place, Wisconsin. We talk about the many different characters and plotlines of That 70s Show and determine what made the show such a huge success. And then we level a few complaints against the recent reboot, That 90s Show. To wrap things up, we take a 70s inspired character quiz. 

This week Rachel has introduced Ty to the irreverent and incomparable Larry David property, Curb Your Enthusiasm! And in true Larry fashion, we have some trouble staying on topic. We discuss the elements of the show that have allowed it to be a success for 11 seasons and determine whether the show is perceived differently now versus during the 2000s. To wrap everything up, we do a mad lib!

We are back! And we are kicking off the new year with an episode that Ty has been so excited to do...One Tree Hill! We delve into the lives of a group of irresponsible teenagers in this small North Carolinian town where nothing ever changed...until one outsider changed everything. Though this is one of Ty's all-time favorite shows, Rachel has just watched it for the first time...and she has some thoughts. Did we put enough dramatic pauses in this description? Once we have ranted and raved about everything, Rachel will quiz Ty to see if she a a TRUE FAN.
