What does it actually take to rebuild your identity from the inside out?
For me, it took a Category 4 typhoon, an NLP qualification, a rental car in Brisbane, and the realisation that the woman I'd been — the one who needed a colour-coded spreadsheet to feel safe — was never going to build the life I knew I was capable of.
This is the very first episode of Rebrand Land. And before I tell you what this podcast is, I needed to tell you how it was born.
Because Internal Rebrand — this podcast, this work, the way I see identity and transformation — didn't come from a lightbulb moment at a laptop. It came from one of the most confronting, humbling and ultimately life-changing experiences of my life.
In this episode, I'm taking you back to the beginning. The Philippines trip I'd dreamed about for five years. The typhoon that hit 48 hours after we landed. The evacuation, the survivors guilt, the decision to leave the country entirely and fly to Australia with no plan, no structure, and no safety net.
And then, in the middle of all of that, starting my NLP Practitioner qualification. And watching everything I was learning click into place in real time.
