There's an old bible story and verse about a man who points the finger at someone else's mistakes and mishaps when, in fact, he has even bigger mistakes and mishaps of his own.
Last week, Mel laid into Kel when Kelly mentioned she was thinking about trying a non-prescribed medication. Keep in mind, Kel did not take it. She was thinking about taking it. She listened to the reasoning and wisdom of many of their listeners. Done.
Except it wasn't done for Mel. Conviction hit home. While she handed a verbal beating to her bestie during episode #134, Mel had forgotten how she recently blew it in a big way too.
Tune in this week to hear the humble pie story. And, if you feel convicted, too, be sure to schedule your doctor appointments! "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
Let's all take better care of ourselves!
Good friends can have honest conversations like these and fully love one another. There is no animosity between these girlfriends. They encourage and support one another. Every experience is a new opportunity to learn and grow.
