There's an old bible story and verse about a man who points the finger at someone else's mistakes and mishaps when, in fact, he has even bigger mistakes and mishaps of his own.
Last week, Mel laid into Kel when Kelly mentioned she was thinking about trying a non-prescribed medication. Keep in mind, Kel did not take it. She was thinking about taking it. She listened to the reasoning and wisdom of many of their listeners. Done.
Except it wasn't done for Mel. Conviction hit home. While she handed a verbal beating to her bestie during episode #134, Mel had forgotten how she recently blew it in a big way too.
Tune in this week to hear the humble pie story. And, if you feel convicted, too, be sure to schedule your doctor appointments! "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
Let's all take better care of ourselves!
Good friends can have honest conversations like these and fully love one another. There is no animosity between these girlfriends. They encourage and support one another. Every experience is a new opportunity to learn and grow.
You're invited to flourish too!

It's an old concept but used by psychologists, goal-driven people, high-achievers, and anyone wanting to live a more positive life.
The concept was developed by a surgeon back in the late 1950s. Dr. Maxwell Maltz noticed that not all of his cosmetically altered patients were satisfied with their results, even if the change was exactly what they wanted. There was more to self-image than what one could see.
Psycho-Cybernetics is a book Mel is enjoying right now. In this week's episode, you and Kel can hear the summary of things and decide for yourself if this type of book might interest you. Plus, there are four simple steps we can all put into practice right away.
Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Malta
Pathological Positivity by Paul Jenkins

We all have them ~ those darn exes!
This week Mel & Kel are going to discuss theirs and hope you spend some time thinking about yours.

Sometimes it feels like we don't have any control, but in fact, we always do. We can control our thoughts and what we make of the situations we face.
Please reach out on the socials and share some of your A-HA moments this week.
These girlfriends love to hear from you and the work you are doing to become the best version of yourself, so be sure to share.
That's it for now.

This week you're invited to join these girlfriends as they talk about confidence.
Don't we all want a big dose of that!?
But is there a difference between confidence and SELF-confidence? And can we create our own self-confidence? Can we help our children gain self-confidence?
Maybe we are keeping our children from becoming more self-confident. We may be doing them a disservice IF we are protecting them from the feeling of discomfort.
Building our self-confidence means experiencing some discomfort. That's okay! It's just a feeling.
Why not find out what these girls have to say? Tune in.
Don't forget, Mel & Kel love hearing from you. Here's where you can find them.

"I've never been confident. I'm an introvert."
Excuses come in all forms.
I can't do this because...
I've never been someone who...
It's just not who I am.
Have you let one of your personality traits define who you are? Be careful! At least be aware.
True, our traits are a part of us, but we can work with them to live a life that fulfills our greatest potential.
This week, Mel & Kel talk about "typology" and their own experiences with personality tests and acronyms.
They are confident you'll enjoy this week's podcast.
Regardless of personality types, these girlfriends believe we all have the power to choose intentional, empowering thoughts - whether we are inhibited extroverts or disinhibited introverts.
Don't forget, Mel & Kel love hearing from you. Here's where you can find them.
