In our social media-driven culture it’s easy to think we are connected, yet in reality many people feel more & more disconnected or lonely. Thankfully, God has a solution for that problem: Biblical community.

Vision is crucial for living the life God made you to live, but one thing that can destroy your vision quicker than anything else is temptation. And yet – every temptation is an invitation to depend on Christ. We’ll talk about how to deal with it when it comes your way so that your vision will not be DESTROYED BY TEMPTATION.

WHAT’S YOUR VISION FOR LIFE THIS YEAR? So many people live with no vision or sense of purpose beyond each day, yet God has an exciting vision for each person’s life. He wants you to discover it, protect it, and pursue it with the help of others in your church family.

Many people wander through life without a sense of purpose, vision, or mission – yet the wonder of Christmas can resolve much of that restlessness. Come learn from the example of the Shepherds to see how you can know the thrill of hope WHEN GOD MAKES YOU WONDER.

Obedience is not a word we usually associate with Christmas or with hope – yet it’s a big part of the Christmas story because biblical obedience is actually rooted in love.

We’ll look at the example of Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus, and find out how to experience the thrill of hope WHEN GOD ASKS FOR YOUR OBEDIENCE.

Hope is the expectation that things will get better & the confidence that the best is yet to come, because hope is a gift from God. Hope is something we all need each day. Come learn from the example of Mary, the mother of Jesus, about how to experience the thrill of hope WHEN GOD MESSES UP YOUR PLANS.

This may be called the “most wonderful time of the year” but in many ways the gifts, music, parties, and even the traditions can leave us wanting more. Instead of anticipation we can get bored & feel cynical – but it doesn’t have to be that way. This Christmas, it’s time to regain that confident expectation of good things to come as we talk about discovering the thrill of hope even WHEN GOD SEEMS ABSENT.

God is the giver of all good things – so join us as we finish up the Heart for the House message series with a special focus on growing “A THANKFUL HEART.”

Have you ever wanted to see God in your life? To see Him do something or provide something that would make life better?
