The Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission (POST) as part of their recertification process has been seeking to have officers fill out a questionnaire to determine if they have “good moral” character. On said questionnaire it asks the officer questions such as if they’ve posted anything on social media that “you believe could be perceived as bias against anyone”. A group of law enforcement organizations took aim with these questions and challenged the “boy scout standard”. A judge has now thrown out two questions on the POST’s questionnaire. President of the MASS C.O.P. Scott Hovsepian joined Dan to discuss.
