Recharge

Well, I’m like a solar panel on the rooftop baby, but you

know there ain’t no sun

Said I’m a solar panel up on the rooftop baby, but you know

there ain’t no sun

Since you drove away from me woman, the blackout is looming

large

We can’t heat the house, babe you know just how cold it gets

at night

Oooh woman, we can’t heat the house and baby it gets so cold

at night

I bey at the moon, shine your love on me woman and let me

recharge

When she’s holding me close, so much power’s surgin’ we’re

makin’ sparks

Yeah my baby wraps up on me, so much power’s surgin’ we’re

makin’ sparks

Stereo blastin’ trying to drown out these generators while

outside the dog barks

Yeah when my woman puts her loving arms around me don’t need

gas or electricity

Said when that girls gets wrapped up on me we don’t need gas

or electricity

We make enough energy and then some, to light up the streets

and the parks

Well, I’m like a solar panel on the rooftop baby, but there

ain’t no sun

Said I’m a solar panel up on the rooftop baby, but there

ain’t no sun

Since you drove away from me woman, the blackout is looming

large

We can’t heat the house, babe you know just how cold it gets

at night

Oooh woman, we can’t heat the house and baby it gets so cold

at night

I bey at the moon, shine your love on me woman and let me

recharge
