Our gospel may not be telling the whole story if it doesn’t communicate both the hopeful joy of salvation *and* the real struggle of being a disciple of Jesus.

When the Lord gives a promise it often feels like the fulfillment should be right around the corner, especially in this Amazon Prime “get it tomorrow” age. But if you pay attention you will see him working intentionally in the waiting to prepare you for what’s to come.

All you need to do is be still and know.
